Bacteria On 12 Seat Types
ABC News conducted an informal look into the cleanliness of a number of different seats.
This informal study shows the dangers of all the potential seats we might use on a regular basis.
Testing 12 different types of seats (the seats in a car, taxi, airport, airplane, rental car, restaurant, hotel lobby, hotel room, movie theater, park bench, toilet seat, and a subway seat) indicated that we might be exposed to a significant number of dangerous organisms on a daily basis just by sitting on these seats.

Coronavirus On Surfaces 17 Days Later
This study indicates that SARS Coronavirus RNA may be present on surfaces for up to 17 days. This means that without proper cleaning, we may be able to be exposed to the virus for a significant period of time after an infected person (whether showing symptoms or not) has left the area.
